A MAN has died after a workplace accident at the IMAX Theatre in Sydney’s Darling Harbour.
Emergency crews were called to the construction site around 10.00am on Friday, following reports a man had been seriously injured.
It’s understood he was working on a high-pressure water pipe which exploded.

The 49-year-old was treated at the scene by paramedics for significant injuries to his head and face.
He was then rushed to St. Vincent’s Hospital, where sadly he passed away a short time later.
A crime scene has since been established and police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
WorkSafe NSW have also been notified, with counsellers called in to assist those who witnessed the accident.
