A MAN in his 50s has died after becoming caught up in a brutal brawl outside a pub in regional Victoria.
The violent scenes erupted outside the licensed premises at Eildon, 130km northwest of Melbourne, on Friday night.
Police said a group of people were fighting outside the Goulburn Valley Highway pub just before midnight.

It’s understood one of the men was struck before collapsing unconscious and smashing his head on the ground.
Paramedics worked desperately to revive the man but he could not be saved and sadly died at the scene.

The victim is believed to be aged in his early 50s.
The three men have been arrested over the death and are currently in custody, assisting police with their enquiries.
Investigators are also speaking to a number of witnesses as they try and piece together exactly what happened.
