A man has died after being ejected from his car in a freak traffic accident in Central West NSW.
The accident happened on Henry Parks Road in the small country town of Manildra, about 55 kilometres west of Orange, at around 1.35am on Friday.
Police said the 45-year-old man had stopped his Ford 4WD on the side of the road after experiencing mechanical issues.

Another motorist, a man aged 34, also stopped to offer assistance.
Minute later, an Isuzu tabletop truck then smashed into the Ford, which in turn collided with the younger man.
Police said the 45-year-old man was still inside the 4WD at the time of the collision.
He was ejected from the vehicle on impact and died at the scene.
The 34-year-old man suffered multiple fractures and lacerations and was taken to Orange Base Hospital in a stable condition.
The 63-year-old truck driver was taken to hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
