A man who suffered critical injuries in a motorbike crash on the Gold Coast earlier this month has sadly passed away.
The accident happened just off the M1 at Molendinar around 4.00pm on Saturday, April 17.
Police said the 28-year-old was riding his motorbike south on the Pacific Motorway and took exit 69, heading onto Southport Nerang Road, when he lost control on the bend and hit the guard rail.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics for critical head injuries, before being rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital where he remained fighting for life.
Queensland Police confirmed in a statement on Wednesday afternoon that the man, from Harristown, sadly passed away this morning.
Forensic Crash Unit officers are continuing to investigate.
