Man dies in hospital after serious skateboarding accident on Gold Coast
A MAN has died in hospital following a serious traffic accident at Merrimac last week.
It’s understood the man was travelling on a motorised skateboard on Robina Parkway when he and a car collided around 10.30pm.
The 33-year-old was treated at the scene by paramedics for a serious head injury before being rushed to Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
Police confirmed in a statement that the man passed away in hospital on Tuesday.
