An elderly man has died after being pulled unconscious from waters on Sydney’s northern beaches.
Emergency services were called to a rock pool at Collaroy beach just before 4.30pm this afternoon.
Bystanders performed CPR on the man, aged in his 70s, before lifesavers arrived.

Paramedics continued trying to resuscitate the man but he could not be saved and died at the scene.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
