Man dies after being run over by passing car during brawl in Sydney
A young man has died in hospital after being hit by a passing car during a fight with a group of friends at Blacktown on Friday night.
The brawl broke out on the corner of Sunnyholt Road and Forge Street about 10.20pm.
Police say “it’s believed a 21-year-old man was with a group of friends when he was involved in an altercation, then was struck by a passing vehicle.”
The man was rushed to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition, however police have confirmed he died this morning.

Following investigations, officers charged a 25-year-old man with affray. He was granted conditional bail to appear at Blacktown Local Court on Thursday 31 August.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, including any motorists who have dash cams in their vehicles, to call Blacktown Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
The driver of the car, a 65-year-old man, has undergone mandatory tests at hospital.
