A MAN has died while snorkelling in waters off the NSW south coast at the weekend.
The man, who police said was aged in his 40s, was snorkelling with two other people in waters off Congo on Sunday morning when he got into trouble around 10.30am.

Paramedics met the boat at Preddys Wharf in Moruya where they attempted to revive the man, however, he could not be saved.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Officers from the Far South Coast Local Area Command are investigating the incident and will prepare a report for the coroner.
