Man disappears while travelling from Brisbane to the Gold Coast

Police are desperately searching for a man who went missing while travelling from Brisbane to the Gold Coast.

Wayne Stevens-Power arrived at Brisbane International Airport on a flight on Sunday morning and is believed to have caught a train to Varsity Lakes early that afternoon.

He was meant to stay with a friend in Mudgeeraba.

He failed to arrive at the home and has not been in contact with family or friends and police hold concerns for his safety.

Mr Stevens-Power has resided abroad for a number of years and was returning to Australia.

It’s understood he suffers from a medical condition and may be disorientated.

He is 59-years-old and is described as being Caucasian in appearance, around 173cms tall, with a slim build and a white beard.
