Man with distinctive neck tattoo wanted over train robbery

A man with a distinctive neck tattoo is wanted for questioning over the robbery of a woman on a train in Sydney’s west.

Police have released CCTV images of the man they want to talk to in relation to the incident earlier this year.

Between 4.00pm and 11.45pm on Wednesday 6 January, a 52-year-old woman was asleep on a train between Summer Hill and Macquarie Fields when her mobile phone, wallet and laptop were stolen.

As part of ongoing inquiries, police have released CCTV images (pictured) of a man they believe may be able to assist them.

He is described as having a medium build, with a distinctive tattoo on the back of his neck.
