A MAN has been extradited to Queensland following a protracted investigation into alleged historical child sex offences.
Detectives travelled to South Australia overnight and arrested the 71-year-old man.
He’s being accused of committing offences against a boy, who was under the age of 17, between 1979 and 1986 in Queensland and New South Wales.

The 71-year-old has been charged with 20 counts of indecent treatment of child under seventeen and is expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
Police say investigations are ongoing, with further charges anticipated.
