Man to face court, charged with drug supply in the Coffs Harbour area

A man is due to face court today after drugs, a hand-made pistol and other items were seized, following investigations into the supply of drugs in the Coffs Harbour area.

Police say that following ongoing investigations, about 4.25pm yesterday, officers stopped a Holden sedan on the Pacific Highway at Korora.

Following a search of the car, officers allegedly located and seized an amount of drugs believed to be ‘ice’, and cash.


The driver, a 34-year-old man, was arrested and taken to Coffs Harbour Police Station.

Police then executed a search warrant at a Coffs Harbour unit, where they allegedly seized an amount of drugs believed to be ‘ice’, a hand-made pistol, ammunition, and other items.

The man has been charged with a number of offences including supply commercial quantity of prohibited drugs, participate in criminal group, possess unauthorised firearm, and possess ammunition.

He is due to appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court today.
