Man to face court following Ipswich stabbing
A man has been charged and is due to face court today after a man was stabbed during a violent altercation at Booval yesteday.
Police say around 11.50am, two men became involved in a fight at a home on Clifton Street.
During the altercation, a 29-year-old man was stabbed several times in the back.
He was rushed to Princess Alexandria Hospital for treatment, where he remains in a stable condition.
A 40-year-old man has since been charged with attempted murder and wounding.
He is due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court today.
