Man to face court for hitting his brother with his car

An Upper Coomera man is in hospital, after he was hit by a car driven by his brother during his engagement party on Saturday night.

Police say the 32-year-old man tried to stop his 39-year-old brother from leaving the party following an argument, by standing in front of his car.

It is alleged the driver accelerated, knocking the groom-to-be to the ground, before driving off from the event in Tallai at around 11:30pm.
