Man facing drugs charges following Tweed RBT stop

An RBT stop on the Tweed has led to the arrest of a man on drugs charges.

Police says the 39-year-old was behind the wheel of a Toyoto Hi-Ace that was pulled in to the random breath test zone on Minjungbal Drive around 4pm on Friday.

The driver returned a negative result to a roadside breath test.

He was granted conditional bail and will appear at Tweed Heads Local Court on 26 March.
