UPDATE @ 11.45am: Forensic officers are examining a possible drug lab, discovered when police followed a trail of blood from a stabbing at Palm Beach to a nearby house.
Police say the man, who was stabbed around 9:00pm last night, has undergone surgery.
He is reportedly in a satisfactory condition.

The 38-year-old was rushed to hospital with life-threatening wounds in a critical condition after staggering from the house and collapsing at a nearby bus stop.
Two Gold Coast men who were in the home were arrested, but have now been released without being charged.
Investigations at the house, which is being combed by the forensic squad, are continuing.
Police say the investigation is in its early stages and it’s too soon to comment on what may have been found inside.

EARLIER @ 5.15am: A man is fighting for life after he was stabbed in Palm Beach on Wednesday night.
Police were called to Tahiti Avenue around 8.45pm following reports of a stabbing.
When they arrived, they found the 38-year-old victim outside a house with wounds to his arm and chest.
He was rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital and is currently in a critical condition.
Police are investigating.
No charges have been laid at this stage.
