Man flung from ute’s tray left with life-threatening injuries
A MAN is fighting to stay alive in hospital after being flung from the back of a ute in Central West NSW.
The 24-year-old man was thrown from the ute’s tray on Dollys Creek Road at Elaine around 6.20pm on Saturday.
The man, from Laverton, suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of the ute, a 29-year-old man from Mount Egerton, has since been charged with dangerous driving causing serious injury.
He was bailed to appear in Ballarat Magistrates Court on 23 November.
