A MAN has been found dead in the wreckage of a single-vehicle crash in southern NSW.
A passing motorist raised the alarm after driving upon the scene of the accident on the Old Hume Highway at Berrima on Sunday morning.
The Ford Falcon was found overturned on the side of the highway between Canberra and Sydney just before 7am.

Police said it appeared the vehicle had left the road and smashed into a tree before rolling onto its roof.
Upon further inspection of the vehicle, police a 30-year-old man deceased in the wreckage.
He is believed to have been the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle at the time of the accident.
A crime scene was established and the highway remained closed for four hours while the road was examined.
