Man found seriously injured outside Byron Bay home moved to Gold Coast Uni Hospital

A MAN who was found seriously injured outside a house at Byron Bay on Saturday morning has been transferred to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.

The 22-year-old German National was found outside a Ruskin Street address covered in blood with serious injuries to his head, face, wrists and hands at around 3.30am.

He was rushed to Tweed Heads Hospital before being transferred to Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.

Police say his injured are serious, although not believed to be life-threatening.

A crime scene was established on Seaview Street, which was examined by specialist forensic officers.

Detectives are now appealing for anyone who may have information to assist their investigation to come forward.
