Man found unconscious outside NSW supermarket after ‘assault’

A MAN has been airlifted to hospital in a critical condition after he was found unconscious outside a supermarket in Wyoming overnight.

Police said that just before 11.00pm, emergency services were called to the Pacific Highway and found a 39-year-old man lying near the footpath.

He was taken to Gosford Hospital for serious head injuries, before being airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital.


A crime scene has been established and investigations are underway.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the assault, or who may have information that could assist the investigation, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
