A man has been charged with dangerous driving causing death after an elderly man was hit and killed in Sydney’s Inner West yesterday.
The accident happened at the intersection of Mitchell Street and Coronation Parade at Enfield around 10.00am.
The 83-year-old victim was rushed to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, however he died shortly after arrival.

The driver of the van, a 46-year-old man, escaped uninjured.
He has since been charged with dangerous driving occasioning death and negligent driving occasioning death and had his licence suspended.
He is expected to appear at Burwood Local Court on Monday 28 August.
