AN elderly man has died after being hit by a car on a footpath in Sydney’s north today.
About 12.25pm, emergency crews were called to Berowra Waters Road at Berowra, after reports a BMW SUV had struck a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, an 84-year-old man, died at the scene despite desperate attempts by paramedics to save him.

The driver of the SUV, a woman believed to be aged in her 50’s, was uninjured and taken to Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital for mandatory testing.
Investigations into the fatal crash are underway.
