Man hospitalised after car crashes into ‘multiple stationary vehicles’ on the Gold Coast

A YOUNG man has spent the night in hospital after reportedly losing control of his car and colliding with several vehicles on the Gold Coast.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said they were called to reports of a single vehicle having struck “multiple stationary vehicles” on Bundall Road and Salerno Street  about 11.42pm on Saturday.

Paramedics treated a man aged in his 20s at the scene for “neck pain” before being taken by ambulance to the Gold Coast University Hospital.


Queensland Ambulance said the man was transported in a stable condition.

Another man and a woman were taken to the same hospital earlier in the night following a two-car crash at Labrador.

Paramedics said the vehicles came to grief on the corner of Musgrave and Kumbari avenues about 6.24pm.

A man in his 20s was treated for neck and hip pain, while a woman in her 30s sustained minor injuries.

They were both transported to the Uni Hospital in a stable condition.

Meanwhile, a woman in her 80s was hit by a car on Reynolds Avenue, also in Labrador, about 6.36am on Sunday.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said the elderly woman sustained injuries to her head and arm.

She was treated at the scene before being transported to the Uni Hospital in a stable condition.
