Man hospitalised after getting hit by a car on Gold Coast
A man’s recovering in hospital this morning after being hit by a car in Broadbeach last night.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Hooker Boulevard near Sunshine boulevard just before 9.30pm.
Three ambulance crews were in attendance, including a Critical Care Paramedic and the High Acuity Response Unit.
The man – believed to be in his 30s – suffered a significant leg injury.
He was immediately rushed to hospital under lights and sirens.
Both a Critical Care Paramedic and High Acuity Response Unit were on board for transport.
He’s believed to be in a stable condition at Gold Coast University Hospital.
