Man hospitalised after Sydney home invasion

POLICE are searching for two intruders following a violent home invasion in Sydney’s southwest.

It’s alleged two men forced their inside a home on Redfern Street in Ingleburn just before 11pm on Tuesday.

Police said the duo bashed a 33-year-old male occupant before stealing property from the home and fleeing.


A woman who police say was also inside the home at the time escaped uninjured.

The man was treated by paramedics for a laceration to the back of his head before being taken to Campbelltown Hospital in a stable condition.

A crime scene was established and examined by forensic officers.

Investigations are continuing as police try and track down the two men responsible.
