Man in coma after Victoria police stomp on head in dramatic arrest
A man is in an induced coma, after he was hit by a police car and had his head stomped on in a horror police arrest in Victoria.
Police report the arrest happened on Sunday afternoon in the northern suburb of Epping.
Multiple nearby witnesses took videos of the arrest, with police seen hitting the man with their vehicle.
One officer is then seen kicking the man, while another stomps on his head.
Victoria police released a statement about the incident yesterday, claiming the man had become aggressive when they tried to arrest him.
“Police were called to Cooper Street, Epping, to reports of a male behaving erratically about 4.10pm.
“Upon arrival the male allegedly became aggressive and damaged a police vehicle whilst attempting to avoid arrest.
“During the highly dynamic incident a police officer was assaulted and OC spray was deployed before the man was arrested and subsequently taken to hospital for assessment,” the statement reads.
The man has now been put into an induced coma in hospital while he recovers from his injuries, he’s reportedly due to be released from that later today.
Victoria Police say they’re investigating the incident.

It was excessive force, I think. The man was down and his arrest was imminent, and in spite of what he did beforehand, the abuse was excessive. I hope the kicker and stomper gets charged.
Why the f*** aren’t the cops in custody if it was anyone else they would be behind bars
