Man in court over violent Qld school stabbing

A QUEENSLAND man will face court today, charged over a brutal attack on another man at a Brisbane primary school yesterday.

The 36-year-old is alleged to have become involved in an altercation with another man, aged 45, in the carpark of Wynnum State School just before 3.00pm Wednesday.

The younger man allegedly stabbed the 45-year-old in the face, back and hand.


He was rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.

Police have charged a Wynnum man with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, assault, possessing a knife and wounding.

He is due to appear in the Wynnum Magistrates Court today.
