AN 18-year-old man has been arrested after a member of the public stumbled upon the body of a young man on a footpath in western Sydney.
The man, believed to be in his early 20s, was found by a member of the public behind some shops on Ralph Street at Mt Druitt around 12.30am on Wednesday.

It’s believed he had suffered serious head injuries.
Forensic teams have shut down the street as they look for clues.
Two hours later, an 18-year-old man was arrested at Blacktown and is assisting police with their investigations.
Commuters travelling to Mt Druitt train station, or those planning to visit the nearby shopping complex, are advised to allow extra time as forensic teams investigate the area.
