An elderly man has been rescued after a horror fall at a private property in the Gold Coast hinterland this morning.
Emergency crews were called to a home at Tamborine Mountain just before 10.00am, following reports a man had fallen several metres.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson told myGC the man is believed to have fallen out of a tree before tumbling around eight metres down a hill on the property.

Fire crews were called in to help rescue the man, who was brought to safety suffering shoulder and leg injuries.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
