Man injured when his car hit a power pole in Sydney’s south west
Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash in Sydney’s south west on Monday morning.
Emergency crews were called to Canterbury Road, near the intersection of Chapel Road, Bankstown at around 12:45am.
Initial investigations suggest a Peugeot 206 was travelling west on Canterbury Road, when it left the road and crashed into a power pole.
The driver, a 21-year-old man, was treated at the scene by Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
No one else was injured during the incident.
Canterbury Road is currently closed westbound as investigations take place.
