Man injured in Gold Coast dog attack

A man has suffered facial injuries after being attacked by a dog at home in Parkwood.

Paramedics were called to the home at 8.50pm on Thursday evening.

The man in his 60s had suffered a bite to the side of his face and puncture wounds behind the ear.

He was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

The breed of dog is not known.

It’s unclear if Council has been notified of the attack.
