A paraglider is recovering in hospital after crash-landing in the Gold Coast hinterland.
The man, aged in his 40s, is believed to have come into trouble while trying to land in Numinbah Valley late yesterday afternoon.
“One patient is being treated for a leg injury after landing quite hard on the ground whilst paragliding,” Queensland Ambulance said.

The man was treated at the scene by paramedics for a significant leg injury before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
A QAS spokesperson said the man was transported in a serious but stable condition.
