Man injured in workplace fall on the Gold Coast

A MAN has been injured after falling from a height at a worksite on the southern Gold Coast.

Paramedics were called to the site on Marruba Street in Currumbin around 12.30pm.

They arrived to find a man in his 50s with injuries to his lower legs, including a fractured ankle.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson told myGC the man fell from a height of no more than 3m.

He was treated at the scene before being transported to hospital in a stable condition.
