A NSW man has been sentenced to more than four years behind bars for uploading child abuse material to Instagram.
The 61-year-old was caught after the Australian Federal Police received a tip-off from authorities in the United States about an Australian Instagram user accessing and uploading child abuse material to the social media platform.
The AFP immediately launched an investigation and quickly linked the Instagram account to a man from the Blacktown suburb of Shalvey.
