Man killed, another critical following bicycle and motorbike crash at Logan

A cyclist has died and a motorbike rider is fighting for life after a shocking crash at Logan Central overnight.

Police say initial investigations suggest at around 6.20pm, the cyclist was attempting to cross Wembley Road when he collided with a motorcycle travelling east.

The 68-year-old male bike rider from Kingston died at the scene.

The male motorcycle rider was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with life threatening injuries.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who have dash cam footage to contact police.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
