A MAN has died and another has been airlifted to hospital in a serious condition following a horror crash between a truck and a car in southern NSW.
The accident happened just after 9.45am this morning along Moss Vale Road in the Southern Highlands.
On arriving at the scene, police found a Mazda flat-bed truck and a Toyota Rav4 had collided.

The truck driver, a 69-year-old man, died at the scene while the driver of the Rav4, a 49-year-old man, was airlifted to Liverpool Hospital.
Police said he was in a serious condition.
Motorists have been urged to avoid the area, with the road still closed in both directions.
Traffic diversions are in place.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
Any witnesses have been urged to come forward.
