Man killed by B-double truck on Pacific Highway
A MAN has died after being hit by a B-double truck on the Pacific Highway near Grafton.
Emergency services were called to a location on the highway around 6.15pm last night, following reports a pedestrian had been struck at Bom Bom.
“Initial investigations suggest a pedestrian was hit by a B-double truck travelling north,” NSW police said in a statement.
A 37-year-old man, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The truck driver, a 46-year-old man, was taken to Grafton Hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash are ongoing.
