A man has died after being struck by a falling tree branch while playing golf in NSW this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to a golf course on Clifford Close at Mollymook just before 3.00pm, following reports of the tragic incident.
Police have been told the man, aged in his 50s, was on the course with three other players when the branch fell on his head.

The other men managed to escape uninjured and immediately tried to save their injured friend before paramedics arrived on scene.
Paramedics then took over and performed CPR on the man, however sadly, he could not be saved.
A crime scene has since been established, which will be examined by forensic police.
A report will also be prepared for the Coroner.
