A man suspected of a brutal stabbing attack on a woman and her son has reportedly died after colliding with a truck in Brisbane.
Police said that around 3.30am this morning, a 46-year-old man entered a home at Forest Lake and repeatedly stabbed a 37-year-old woman in the upper body with a knife, leaving her seriously injured.
An 18-year-old man, understood to be the woman’s son, attempted to stop the attack, however he was also stabbed multiple times in the arms and hands.

The 46-year-old man then fled the scene.
About 20 minutes later, police said a 46-year-old man was found dead after crashing into a parked truck at Wacol.
“Investigations into the two incidents are continuing,” police said in a statement.
The woman and man were known to each other.
