Driver killed after car collides with tree in Victoria
A man has been killed in a traffic crash at Cowes, in Victoria’s Gippsland Region.
Police said the man was travelling along Rhyll Road, near Thompsons Avenue, when his vehicle left the road and hit a tree just before 10am.
State Emergency Service volunteers cut the man from the vehicle however he died at the scene a short time later.
The man, who was the sole occupant, is yet to be identified.
