A man has died following a single vehicle crash at Mount Richmond in Victoria’s south west overnight.
Police said the 39-year-old Portland man died when his vehicle left Portland-Nelson Road and struck a fence post just after 10.30pm.
A male passenger in the car escaped uninjured.
Police are investigating the exact cause of the crash and are calling for witnesses to come forward.
