A MAN has been killed after losing control of a motorbike on a dirt road in regional NSW and crashing into a sign.
The horror accident took place at Goolgowi, around 50 kilometres north-west of Griffith, early this morning.
Police said the 35-year-old man was riding an unregistered trail bike along an unsealed, dirt road around 1.40am.

The man lost control of the bike as he approached the intersection of Ilkadoon and Garrong roads.
He was ejected from the bike after colliding with a road sign and died at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet.
Police are investigating whether alcohol was a contributing factor in the crash.
A crime scene was established and investigations into the crash are continuing.
