Man killed in head-on crash on unsealed dirt road in NSW

A man has died after the motorbike he was riding collided head-on with a Toyota Landcruiser on an unsealed dirt road in northern NSW.

Police said the man was riding south along Paddys Flat Road at Paddys Flat around 11am when he collided with the Toyota.

The man sustained life-threatening injuries after being thrown from his bike.


A number of people rendered assistance until paramedics arrived.

Sadly, the 44-year-old man from Albany Creek in Queensland died while being transported to the Westpac Lifesaver Helicopter.

A crime scene was established and investigations are continuing.
