Man killed in horror motorbike crash on sheep station

A man has died after his motorbike struck a fence on a sheep station about 140km north of Broken Hill.

Police said emergency services raced to Tirlta Station around 5.30pm on Saturday, after receiving reports of a motorcycle crash.

Initial investigations suggest two men were riding motorcycles on the property, when one of the men hit a fence.

The rider, a 67-year-old Victorian man, suffered critical injuries.

The Royal Flying Doctor Service were contacted and arrived about 8.30pm, however, the man died later that night.

A crime scene has been established and investigations into the crash are continuing.
