THE Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the cause of a single vehicle crash which killed a man north-west of Brisbane early this morning.
Police say the accident happened along Dayboro Road, Dayboro, just before 6am when a utility crossed onto the wrong side of the road and collided with an embankment at the intersection of Strong Road.

The 36-year-old driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.
Dayboro Road was closed for a number of hours as emergency services responded.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
