A MAN has been killed in a horror crash in a small farming town in the NSW South West Slopes district overnight.
Police said it was about 10.20pm when a Holden Colorado travelling north on Lachlan Valley Way left the road and struck a tree roughly 8km south of Boorowa.
The driver, a man believed to be in his 40s, died at the scene.

Lachlan Valley Way was closed in both directions for a number of hours while the scene was examined.
Inquiries in to the incident are continuing and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
