A man has died following a nasty motorbike crash on the southern Gold Coast.
It’s understood the 36-year-old was riding southbound along the Gold Coast Highway around 3.00pm on Friday, when he lost control just past the Coolangatta Airport turn-off and crashed.
According to police, a passing motorist came across the injured rider lying on the road and called emergency services.

They’re especially keen to hear from anyone who may have dashcam of the 2015 Blue Yamaha WR450F with registration 285SW riding along the motorway prior to and including the crash.
