A man has died following a collision between a truck and a train at Narromine yesterday.
Around 5.20pm Wednesday 23 September 2015, emergency services were called to a railway crossing about 5km south of Narromine on the Tullamore Road, after a truck and a freight train collided.
The truck, which was carrying grain, caught fire, sparking a number of nearby grass fires.

Firefighters from Rural Fire Service (RFS) and Fire and Rescue NSW contained and extinguished the fires.
Officers attached to Orana Local Area Command attended and commenced processing the scene.
The driver of the truck, a man believed to be aged in his mid-40s, died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified.
The staff-members working on the freight train have all been accounted for. None are believed to have sustained serious injuries.
The train driver was breath tested at the scene, which returned a negative result.
The Tullamore Road between Tullamore and Narromine is expected to be closed overnight. Motorists are advised to avoid the area until further notice.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
