Man killed in midnight crash with minibus

A MAN has died after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a minibus on the NSW Central Coast.

The accident happened on Budgewoi Road at Budgewoi just after midnight.

Sadly, the male rider suffered life-threatening injuries and died at the scene.

Police said the man, who is believed to be aged in his 40s, is yet to be formally identified.

Officers from Tuggerah Lakes Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

The 23-year-old man behind the wheel of the minibus was taken to Wyong Hospital for blood and urine tests.

A brief will be prepared for the Coroner.
