A MAN has had his new luxury 4WD seized by police, after he was allegedly caught speeding in it just 10 minutes after driving it out of a Melbourne car yard.
Highway Patrol officers first allegedly spotted the 37-year-old using his mobile phone to film himself driving the 2013 Porsche Cayenne at Albert Park after purchasing it just before 10am on Saturday.
A short time later he was allegedly detected travelling through a 40 zone at 100km/h on Aughtie Drive.

Police intercepted the man and impounded his new 4WD for 30 days.
“The man’s excitement at purchasing a Porsche lasted all but 10 minutes, Victoria Police said in a statement.
The 37-year-old man from Yallambie will be charged on summons for both speeding and using a mobile phone while driving.
